This is done through educating groups and individuals on native plants, providing native plants to volunteers, groups, and members of the public, and participating in restoration and protection of native plant populations. |
| Contribution to the community: Native plants are adapted to the environmental conditions of the area, as such they generally require less care resulting in lower costs. Further, native plants are attractive to native wildlife. Thus, the restoration of natural areas can help to attract and maintain native wildlife populations which can be enjoyed by local residents. | |
