| Volunteer Position: | Display Coordinator |
| Purpose of the Position: | Book displays in the Edmonton and Surrounding region in order to increase awareness of the Edmonton Naturalization. Help the volunteer coordinator to create information sheets for display volunteers and help the volunteer coordinator to schedule and recruit volunteers to work displays. |

| Work location: | Various. Coordination can occur from home, however, displays happen throughout the city and surrounding area. |
| Hours: | 1 - 2 hours per week. Displays generally take place on the weekend. |
| Principle Duties and Responsibilities: | Contact potential organizations regarding display opportunities. Recruit volunteers to man display booths. Schedule volunteers to man display booths. Ensure that volunteers are comfortable at display tables. |
| Supervision: | You will work primarily with the volunteer coordinator. |
| Selection Criteria: | Leadership experience. Ability to communicate effectively. Good organizational skills. |
| Benefits of the Role: | Contribution to achieving the Edmonton Naturalization Groups Mission and goals: The Edmonton Naturalization Group (ENG) goal is to promote the use of native wildflowers and grasses in gardening and landscaping. This is done through educating groups and individuals on native plants, providing native plants to volunteers, groups, and members of the public, and participating in the restoration and protection of native plant populations. The display coordinator contributes to our mission by facilitating opportunities to educate groups and individuals on native plants and their use in planting and restoration. |
